PennBarry Releases Energy Recovery Products for Commercial Buildings
PennBarry offers a line of indoor and outdoor products that recover exhaust air energy to lower energy usage of commercial ventilation equipment.
Dallas, TX (PENNBARRY) October 20, 2006 – PennBarry releases energy recovery products which recover exhaust air energy and reintroduce it into the conditioned space; thereby reducing design loads of air conditioning equipment.
All energy recovery products use a patented enthalpy wheel technology. Enthalpy wheels contain parallel layers of a polymeric material that are impregnated with silica gel; each wheel accessible for cleaning by removing one of eight pie-shaped segments.
As the enthalpy wheel rotates, it provides energy exchange between the filtered outside air and the exhaust air from the building. This energy exchange brings the temperature and humidity closer to that of the conditioned space, which reduces air conditioning equipment requirements and costs.
Each unit is supplied with a fully tested blower assembly, control system, and filter; optional accessories are available. Different models are configurable for indoor or outdoor applications with downflow, side-by-side, or over-and-under duct arrangements.
Outdoor; Stand-alone for downward discharge duct arrangements in rooftop applications.
Outdoor; Stand-alone for side-by-side duct arrangements.
Indoor; Stand-alone for side-by-side duct arrangements.
Outdoor; Stand-alone for over-and-under duct arrangements.
Indoor; Stand-alone for over-and-under duct arrangements.
